I am an adventurous seeker and wise guide who has been practicing the art of slowing down and tending to one’s self for over a decade.
Diagnosed with depression as a young teen, I've grappled with what this means and have been relentless in following the internal whisper that says ‘there’s a better way’. I am an advocate for mental health awareness and share about my experiences in the One Step Ahead series, a passion project born out of a desire to celebrate the healers in my life and my childhood dream of ‘making a show’.
I am also an entrepreneur. When I'm not writing, I'm supporting clients to help bring their projects and goals to life. Using my vast experience in teaching, instructional design, project management, client services, and life ;) I have a knack for being able to look at a project or situation and see a) things that are potentially getting in the way and b) what’s required to move through challenges and roadblocks. While I don’t sugar coat anything, I am also quick to celebrate every small step forward along with the joy and accomplishments of others.
I describe myself as a collaborator extraordinaire whose motto in business and life is:
We can do it alone. We do it better together!
I am on a mission to prove that there is indeed a better way! That as humans, we have the power to change our conditions AND our conditioning. That we don't have to feel trapped relying on crumbling systems. That there is an expanding sisterhood of healers and creatives who are finding their ways to one another, who are fostering connections and communities that enable us to tend to and uplift each other.
When not nurturing my business or my family, you might find me resting, reading, writing, meditating, puttering, or curiously observing and communing with nature.
